Colorado True North Inc. does carry insurance which includes umbrella insurance and $1,000,000 vehicle insurance.
How long does a typical construction project take?
Due to the many variables including project complexity, materials used, and weather each project timeline is different. We will develop a comprehensive schedule for your specific project keeping you up to date throughout the project. This will ensure you are tracking the completion date and changes to the schedule that may be required.
How do you charge for projects?
Colorado True North develops a quote based on your project needs. Our most common form of bidding is compiling all necessary information of your project needs, collecting current materials cost, subcontractor quotes, and overhead/Profit costs. Where some contractors may give a rough estimate, leaving the possibility of multiple “Change Orders” risking a project cost above your budget, We put in the extra time to give you an accurate cost thereby minimizing any risk of unnecessary “Change Orders”. Our bids will be constrained the projects defined parameters. Please note: Any additions outside of the project scope will require a “Change Order”.
Do you have your own crew, or do you hire subcontractors?
Colorado True North has our own crew for the majority of the work. We do subcontract professionals for specific needs like plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and painting. We are proud of the subcontractors we use and believe they are the best in their field. Because you have hired us to complete the project, we manage the needs and requirements of the subcontractors.
Who is responsible for getting the necessary permits?
Colorado True North is responsible for getting all permits and required approvals prior to the start of work.
Do you offer any warranties or guarantees on the work you do?
We offer 1-year limited warranties as identified in our signed contracts. All other warranties will be from the manufacturer of the materials we use. We will go over the warranty with you prior to signing the contract. We guarantee to not call the project complete the project until you are satisfied with our services.
What is your service area?
We service all of Colorado. Our main service area is the front range which includes El Paso County, Elbert County, Parker, Castle Rock, Cripple Creek, and Woodland Park.
Do you offer free in-person estimates?
All of our initial estimates are free. This includes one rough design to help you visualize your project.
